• Arbor Checks: Use checks created with recycled paper, and a portion of the proceeds supports the Arbor Day Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to tree planting and environmental stewardship.
• Wyland Checks: A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Wyland Foundation whose mission is to inspire and encourage ocean conservation.
• Recycled Checkbook Covers: When you purchase a recycled checkbook cover it will look great, and it is environmentally friendly.

*Green Checking is an account that can only be opened online through the F&M Bank web site. Green Checking can not be opened in a branch. After the account is open, customers may bank in any of our branch locations at no additional cost. This account has a $50 minimum balance to open. Personal accounts only. Customers must receive their monthly Green Checking account statements electronically and maintain a valid personal email address. Free checking refers to no account activity or maintenance fees (i.e. no recurring monthly service charges). Customer purchases checks and checkbook accessories. Other fees may apply, including fees for use of foreign ATMs and Bill Pay service. Restrictions may apply.
